Finance is central to most organizations’ decision-making. These decisions include whether or not to invest; how to finance an investment; how to value a company and whether or not dividends should be paid. To deal with these issues and to be able to solve such problems it is necessary to understand the role played by financial markets and intermediaries, the importance of risk analysis and how to construct efficient portfolios.

The Aims and Objectives of the Programme
The objective of the programme is to introduce and develop an understanding of the concepts of finance and the topic of financial management in a variety of organizations-industrial, commercial, public sector and not-for-profit–together with an appreciation of finance in a strategic sense. Specifically, you will be provided with a stimulating and intellectually challenging management development programme, along with a rigorous education in the concepts and techniques of financial management. The programme aims to advance your career in finance whilst offering scope to pursue academic work in this area.
